We offer a varied range of Accommodations next to Hawaii Volcano National Park ,the number 1 tourist attraction on the Big Island . We also have a cottage in Kapoho located on the most Eastern Tip of Hawaii.   Below are description of each of our cottages.

 

Volcano is at the 4000Ft. Elevation in a up country rain forest.  Its temp. can be as low as 45 degrees or lower during the evening and as high as 80 during the day. It is a rain forest so we recommend bring rain gear, wind breaker and some warm clothing.

 Our population is approx. 3000. We have 2 general stores, hardware store ,post office,  art center, 4 restarants''' Kilauea Lodge, Thai Thai , Ono Café, and  Ohia Café, .  All our cottage are  minutes from Volcano National Park and erupting Volcanoes, Volcano Village, Akatsuka Orchid Garden, Sunday market at Cooper Center and Volcano's many artist studios. They are  tucked into a natural  landscaped rainforests.

 

Our cottages all come with fully equipped kitchens for cooking. However, I do not supply any food items except salt and pepper.

The cottages  do have fresh cut flower arrangement, linens, blankets, towels, dishes, pots and pans. garbage bags, coffee makers, coffee filters,  Paper towels, tea pot, water kettle, dish soap , liquid body soap, TP, and facial tissue. If you are staying more than three days you  might need to purchase more items as I do not restock.  I do not supply Bottle water but we do recommend you to purchase it at the store.

If you plan to do extended cooking please pick up supplies in Kona or Hilo . The volcano stores are for convenient items and can be very expensive,.

The Volcano Secret Garden Cave Cottage: 

 

 , Our Volcano Secret Garden cottage is charming, private, and decorated with our private collections from local artists and our Asian travels. Built 4 years ago by our son ,friends and us, we used large local Ohia post on the lanai and cedar shingles creating a rustic style cottage. It has a open floor plan consisting of 1300 square feet complete with wood burning fireplace for Volcano's cool evenings.. It has a very large master bedroom with king bed. ,ensuite bath  and sitting area, the second bedroom has a king and third a double. Granite kitchen counters and tile and carpet flooring. A steaming Hot tub awaits you on the lanai.
A perfect home for families, couples traveling together or a couple who wants a home away from home.

Our lovely home , The Volcano Secret Garden Cave Hale, is located on 3 square forested acres. Surrounded by only three acre lots you can expect complete privacy with all the conveniences, paved road ,electric, and satellite TV. 
 But the most exciting feature of our home is your very own entrance to the worlds longest lava cave, Kazimura Cave. We found our cave when we were preparing the lot to build. We first observed the one entrance which seem large and very beautiful. It was our kids that discovered the other entrance that opened a world of mazes underground. We contacted the National Park and to our surprise it was a documented entrance to the world longest lava tube cave. It goes from the National Park almost to the ocean.

The Volcano Singing Forest Cottage:

 

 A beautiful brand new deluxe studio cottage nestled among a half acre rainforest alive with  singing  native birds. Located just 2 miles from the Volcano National Park and 7  short blocks  to Volcano Village, The Singing Forest is your a perfect base to explore and designed with relaxation, romance  and luxury in mind. Complete with HOT TUB, King Bed, plush bedding, comfy cozy furniture to snuggle in while watching the toasty fire. A small  modern kitchen adds to your  dining in experience if you are in the mood just to stay and not to venture out...... Granite counters, stainless steel appliances and fully equipped.....  Wall mount flat screen cable TV, WIFI, beautiful etched glass windows, vaulted ceiling and  french doors tops off the living room. A custom Bath with a one of a kind vanity , large walk in shower, large 5x5 corner windows, and a wood  soaking tub enhances the true beauty of this deluxe cottage.
Outside was designed to complement the enviroment with rustic colors  ,2 covered decks adorned with native tree post ,Ohia, and railings , Hot tub on back deck, very private and large slate fireplace stack.
A perfect getaway for anyone who wishes to relax  recharge or rekindle.

 

 The cottage has  robes,  Washer and dryer, Fireplace, firewood ,  wax fire starters , Cable TV and internet, not wireless, telephone blow dryer,  charcoal grill  and DVD Player..Everything you need for a romantic getaway.  Perfect for 2 but I do have floor futons for additional person.

 

The Volcano Mountain Home:

 

A cozy and cute 3 bedroom cottage. Very much a mountain home complete with ohia post inside , and  hand crafted kitchen cabinets.A very affordable cottage  is  decorated with the spirit of the past and present of a rustic Hawaiian mountain home ensures your stay to be a pleasant one and gives you a chance to experience Volcano's residents Lives......
A large open well equipped  kitchen with Hawaiian peltroglyph tiles and large bar, lots of windows, and Ohia post at the entry, wood walls in the living room radiates Hawaiian style
comfort and  warmth.
This cottage has a   large master bedroom with 1 queen bed, second bedroom is small but has a double and the loft has a  queen. 
Volcano Mountain Home has all the comforts of home and  great value.  Fully equipped kitchen and bath with a shower and washer and dryer,  Cable TV, internet(not wireless) phone, and a great gas heater for the cool Volcano evenings

 

 

 

The Volcano Bamboo View Cottage:

 

, Bamboo View Cottage is nestled in the tree tops with views  overlooking  the beautiful landscape yard  of a 9 acre estate. The owner has 37 species of bamboo and from the back windows these can be viewed.. The Bamboo View Cottage ,is  large 24x24 upstairs studio with  a kitchenette,(complete with apartment frig ,Large toaster oven, microwave, , 1 queen and 1 double bed, dining area, bathroom with shower ,sitting area, has its own driveway, fenced yard , totally enclosed patio with bamboo fencing and front entrance faces the rain forest. You are 60 feet from owner home. The Studio is decorated in the owners collectibles from the past , 1930's couch, great grandparents beds , Maxwell Parish ,Fox Prints, cookie jars, Fiesta ware and fresh cut tropical flower arrangements..  The owner will provide you with a homemade Self serve  continental breakfast includes, Fresh fruit  breads coffee, jellies and much more..
 The owners do have animals but promise a quite peaceful stay.. Your fenced yard does insure your privacy from owners and their pets.

 

 

 

The Volcano Dancing Ferns Room:

 

Minutes from Hawaii's #1 destination, Volcano National Park. Volcano Dancing Ferns is located on 3 square acres surrounded by the Big Islands upcountry rain forest. Lush jungle, large Ohia trees and Hapu'u ferns surround the property. This guest room is located in a beautiful country Kama'aina home. You have your own private entrance, private bath, walk in shower with river rock floors, granite counters, king size bed, dish tv, and a dvd player with vast selection of movies, coffeepot, microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge and a self serve continental breakfast placed in your room.  This room provides a tropical hawaiian theme for your comfort and enjoyment.

 

 

 

The Kapoho Paradise Found Cottage: The only cottage in The magical place called Kapoho:

 

Kapoho is located on the most eastern tip of the Big Island. Considered the sunniest area of the East side of the island, the area of Kapoho is off the beaten path but a favorite of the locals and travelers looking for a secret paradise. Miles of undeveloped rugged coast line with waves crashing, tree tunnels, locals fishing from cliffs, and opihi picking.  You will start to believe you’ve found paradise.

Kapoho Hale is located across from the ocean on two tropical lots, landscaped with coconut ,mango, and plumeria trees. It was once a fisherman refuge but in 1988 it was converted to a cute cozy comfortable cottage.

It has two bedrooms, 1 room with a queen Bed, and other has a double, and 2 twins. Bath with shower, full kitchen complete with frig, apartment size stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Dish  TV, wifi, telephone and washer and dryer. A large porch faces the ocean with more than a limited view of the great Pacific.
